Altadena, CA — Nila’s new Zaila Bi-Color and Varsa Bi-Color are the first professional LED fixtures to offer our Precision Colortune™ system. With this innovative new feature, you control the precise color of the light output of each fixture between 2600°K and 6400°K in 200° increments. Set the color you prefer and it will remain in memory until you change it again.
We’ve also added a unique Red Boost circuit that allows you to warm up the color if needed. This can be particularly helpful with some cameras. Some of our earliest beta testers even commented on how useful this feature was when dialing in light to better reproduce various skin tones.
Both the Precision Colortune™ and Red Boost circuits are controllable via DMX on their own control channels, allowing users the full range of color options even after the lights have been rigged out of reach.
The bi-color Zaila and Varsa each produce more lumens than their daylight-balanced counterparts. Their native beam angle is 20° due to the color-blending optics used, resulting in a softer light output that’s ideal for both modern cinematography and ENG setups. Whereas most bi-color LED fixtures in the marketplace today have discreet optics for each color, the Zaila Bi-Color blends the colors within each individual optic resulting in less color fringing and better overall color reproduction.
