Newbury Park, CA – MAXON, the industry-leading developer of professional 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering solutions, announces exhibitor participation at the 2015 Game Developers Conference (GDC), the world’s largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event taking place March 4-6, 2015 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
At GDC, MAXON invites game developers and creative professionals to stop by its GDC booth (#208, South Hall) to learn how they can easily incorporate 3D models, animation and environments into their game development pipelines. Demos will highlight the seamless connectivity between its award-winning Cinema 4D software solution with many of today’s leading game development platforms including Unity 3D. Guest artist presenter M dot Strange will be on hand to share his unique creative approach, tips and techniques in game design.
MAXON will preview technology of a new plugin in development that provides integration with the Allegorithmic Substance Designer 5 procedural texturing toolset directly inside Cinema 4D. This functionality will give Cinema 4D users access to a wide range of Substance Designer files to download and also provides greater flexibility in the adjustment of textures for streamlined content creation. MAXON team members will be showcasing this integration during GDC at the Allegorithmic booth (#212, South Hall).
MAXON software is used by 3D artists worldwide and revered for the creative flexibility it provides for generating complex assets for game cinematics, game trailers and more. Recent world class game titles that have relied on Cinema 4D and Body Paint 3D include Halo 4, Empress of the Deep 3, Call of Duty: Black Opps II, The Division, and the soon-to-be released Dreadnought.
